The 2018 Porsche European Open, one of the most prestigious tournaments on the European Tour, will be played at Green Eagle Golf Club, from 25 - 29 July. Play takes place on the North Course, at 7,165 metres one of Europe’s longest courses.
As always at the Porsche European Open, the top golfers from the European Tour also battle with some of the world stars. In 2017, Ryder Cup hero Patrick Reed, US star Pat Perez, PGA champion Jimmy Walker and US Master champion Charl Schwartzel from South Africa teed up.
The local heroes will be out in force again in 2018. In 2017, Germany was represented by Marcel Siem, Florian Fritsch, Maxmilian Kiefer, Bernd Ritthammer, Alexander Knappe and Max Rottluff.
Also, with the Ryder Cup selection taking place on September 2nd, the Porsche European Open will be one of the last remaining events for players to stake a claim for their inclusion into this magnificent event between Europe and the United States.
