CEV Beach Volleyball European Championship Final 1-5 June 2016


In partnership with the city of Biel, Switzerland hosts the CEV Beach Volleyball European Tour for three years.

The 2014 CEV Beach Volleyball European Masters has kicked off a spectacular and rousing three-year series of beach volleyball tournaments on a continental level culminating in the 2016 CEV Beach Volleyball European Championship Final (BEACH EURO 2016) staged in an idyllic, beautiful and easily accessible location on the southern slopes of the Jura mountains. The lakeside Strandboden location in the Nicolas G. Hayek Park is an exclusive and unique platform to host this world-class event thanks to the City of Biel’s long-standing connection to volleyball.

BEACHMANIA – the unique sportstainment festival 

The Beach Arena with a capacity of 3'000 seats is the heart of this sportstainment festival – simply called BEACHMANIA - that merges world class sports, live concerts, fireworks and other interactive entertainment to delight every year more than 50'000 people over 10 event days on site.

The 2016 CEV Beach Volleyball European Championship Final - BEACH EURO 2016

As an official olympic qualifying tournament for Rio 2016, Biel/Bienne and BEACHMANIA hosts the 2016 CEV Beach Volleyball European Championship Final (BEACH EURO 2016). This outstanding event in the world of professional Beach Volleyball will be staged from 1-5 June 2016.

4SPORTS signed an agreement for 3 years with Swiss Volley and CEV and acts as the promoter of the series.
